Jessica’s Palm Beach Picks!

With season commencing and the holidays taking shape in Palm Beach, I thought I’d share some of my favorite Palm Beach posts! There are so many darling proprietors and places that resonate with me – I’m often asked by visitors in the shop where I like to frequent and thought I’d share! Read on to see my Palm Beach Picks!

Johnnie Brown Grave

Yes, that’s right, a grave. A gravestone sits in a small courtyard in Palm Beach paying memory to Johnnie Brown, the pet spider monkey of Addison Mizner, a well known fixture of Palm Beach in the twenties. (Image via).

Il Papiro

I absolutely adore their stationary from Italy! The shop is a treasure trove for lovers decorative papers and other fineries from Italy. (Image via).

As classic as they come… Kassatly’s has been a Palm Beach institution and is affectionately known as Worth Avenue’s “oldest shop.” I especially love their appliquéd linens and bathrobes. (Image via).

Palm Beach Bicycle Trail

Bike along beautiful a beautiful pathway between tall hedges and bougainvillea… I always recommend this trail to visitors. Be sure to stop into the Bicycle Trail Shop for your bike & trail map! (Image via).

Classic Book Shop

Right on South County Road, this Palm Beach classic has been open for more than 40 years! It’s my go-to when I need a juicy beach read! (Image via)

The Four Arts Botanical Garden

I adore the lush and peaceful Botanical Garden, owned by The Society and maintained by The Garden Club of Palm Beach. It makes for the perfect setting to stroll and relish in the natural world or bring a special visitor! (Image, via).

Of course I can’t possibly pen this post without mentioning Lycette!  Lycette is Palm Beach’s first needlepoint shop in years, and I’m most especially grateful for the sense of community that has been cultivated, in and out of the shop. (Image via Lycette).
